We have experienced staff available to sharpen your skates via our drop-off service; drop-off during regular Arena hours for future pickup. A single sharpening is $8, or purchase a 10x Skate Sharpening Value Card for $65, a $15 savings. Starting in November, we will sell Skate Sharpening Value Cards and other Northwest Arena products and service cards online via the Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce's "Shop Local CHQ" platform!
Backyard curling is a version of curling that has been adapted for the Northwest Arena. It's a low-contact leisure team activity that allows participants to easily adhere to COVID-19 guidelines, all while enjoying a social and engaging sport! It requires no special equipment, skills, or prior experience. We only need three more teams for our Winter Backyard Curling League, which begins on Monday, January 11. Signup ASAP: bit.ly/SignUp-BackyardCurling. Practice times are offered this week for new teams and teams who want to brush up on their skills. Open leagues: Monday @ 6:45 PM | Wednesday @ 7:15 PM | Friday @ 4:30 PM | The weekly time commitment is about one hour.

New player registration for Jamestown Lakers Disabled Hockey is now open. This no-cost program for individuals ages 7-18, or close age, with any disability includes: learning and applying the concepts of the game of hockey, team building, having fun, making friends, and more. We focus on not just winning hockey games and becoming better athletes, but also becoming better individuals, Ellis said. We have a strong staff that works extremely hard to get our players to reach their full potential to compete in hockey games, while, at the same time, illustrating and teaching our players the basic skills of life, and how to be a professional, respectable young adult. - via The Post-Journal // #becauseeveryoneshouldplay #coolplace
