Great news, potting soil back in stock. After a three week national back order we were able to acquire a couple of pallets of one cubic foot natural and organic potting soil with fertilizer! It’s not too large and it’s not too small it’s a perfect size potting soil come on in if you need potting soil for your containers and pots and raised vegetable gardens and flower gardens! We also have professional growers mix potting soil in stock gigantic 3 ft. bags. So we should have all of your potting soil needs!

Another awesome job done tonight for north Shore Garden center, by Vincent Dominick and Johnny Scaglione. Johnny is the high school intern, and Vincent is slowl...y training Jonny as an apprentice but Jonny has turned into quite a professional. Today we used beautiful Dragon wing Begonia‘s in all the beds because they require very little water they grow up to 2 feet tall and you can literally forget to water them they’re so super hearty, we also put beautiful white vinca flower in the beds to add some color contrast, those three beautiful endless summer hydrangeas I planted about six years ago, and we also put down about 5 yards of black mulch in the front of the house. House looks absolutely incredible! Because of the amount of mulch and only the two of us Job took about three hours tonight. Please note we just made a decision last night to open up flower plant things again for the year 2020, we weren’t sure whether to initiate this program again during the pandemic, but last night after a long discussion we decided to open it up again for 2020 on a temporary basis to see how it goes. Has always done Junior will do an absolutely incredible job for you, your best bet is taking pictures of all of your empty parts in front of your house and then sending them to Tom via email with a small description of how many total planters you have, your price range, and what type of centerpiece you’re looking to place in the middle of the pot, Tom Junior knows how to design the rest he just needs to know what type of centerpiece idea you’re looking for like either a palm tree a flowering tree and evergreen tree, a deciduous tree, or just a spike or low flowering piece. It’s Saturday morning and I know everybody always looks forward to their North Shore Garden center weekend photo blast. Love you all very much as of this morning we have some really incredible material in stock, we ordered so much material as a re-order that I don’t think we’re ever going to run out until mid June. (first picture is of our new high school Inter long time Port Washington resident Johnny S, Jonny has been a wonderful addition to our store this year and he’s got...ten so many compliments from the customers so come on out and visit our local high school intern and have his horticulture knowledge give you a hand in the store) And we have really good news to all the 25 or 30 customers looking for a clematis it finally came in stock this morning from California we have some beautiful clematis, we also have believe it or not once in 1 million chance we have rolls of sod from Delalio sod farms available we have maybe 25 or 30 pieces of grass available if anybody needs sod on an emergency basis, so I have to say it is safe to say we are fully stocked with everything today except for vegetables and herbs. We have whatever is left over as far as tomatoes eggplant basil cucumbers veggies and herbs just a few left. So we are fully stocked on everything but almost sold out on veggies and herbs. grandpa Domenico Strippoli‘s 100% organic homegrown vegetables and herbs are almost completely sold out so please come this weekend or next weekend, as far as flowers we should be good until the Fourth of July. We made a another mother very happy by dropping off some late Mother’s Day GIGANTIC GERANIUM PLANTERS with dracaena spike and Vinca inside each pot also. Each planter contains 10 units of grandpa domenicos award winning 6 geraniums ! The customer was literally blown away!!!

Pictures of one of our classic on the water-overlooking-New York City, mansions that we do year after year in Sands Point New York! This year we changed it up a little bit by using Domenicos classic purple wave petunia baskets. With the white color containers instead of the brown Coco color, we feel the white against the white backdrop of the house makes the purple wave petunias splash especially one month into growth when the whole place will be pouring with beautiful pur...ple color against the white backdrop. We also used jumbo size Croton plants in the front because it’s very windy, with all hardy low ground cover annuals in the two front main pots, we just needed really hearty sturdy plants, as far as the backyard we used hidbixus around the pool with custom flower mixes on the bottom, we made a nice corner wind protected tall Jasmine planter, and our last two planters were giant 150 pound Christmas ADONIDIA palm trees with a combination of flowers on the bottom of the pot around this massive ceramic planter , everything picked out and designed by Dom Junior. We rece...ived 1000 reiger begonias and 1500 new guinea impatiens from canada in stock yesterday because the northeast is sold out, so we can say we are definitely ready for you guys and the MDW rush. Inventory pictures are as of 400 pm today. -DONT FORGET: MASKS ARE REQUIRED by nys mandate regarding being closer to to other people than 6 feet in grocery and retail stores.
