Please join me in congratulating Pastor, excuse me, Dr. Luis Mancebo on his latest achievement, a PHD in leadership. Pastor Mancebo is serving in the Buffalo district. We are truly blessed to have him and his lovely family as part of our pastoral team here in the New York Conference. Congratulations and blessings my friend.

Came to the office this morning and was greeted by this... Thank you Linda Wheeler and the rest of the staff for such a beautiful job! Jesus Christ believed you to be of more value than heaven itself and came as a baby to save us. Thank you Jesus!
Enjoyed Sabbath AM in study and worship with the North Creek church family. God was our unseen Guest and Teacher. Happy Sabbath.
Blessed Sabbath today@ East Palmyra Bilingual Seventh-day Adventist Church Sábado de Bendición..
Brethren, I am saddened to report that retired Pastor, Gene Thomas passed away last evening. He served the New York Conference faithfully in several capacities; Maintenance Dir. (USA), Pastor, Camp Meeting Supt., mentor, missionary and friend. He was known and loved by many people both in and out of our Conference. He was one ‘called from the plow’ as they say. Which allowed him to bring a different perspective to ministry. Please keep the extended family in your prayers. I look forward to seeing him again, soon! Even so, come Lord Jesus...
Brethren and Conference family, I want to inform you that Pastor Claudio Gomez and I just left a hospital in upstate New York. We visited and anointed Pastor Gene Thomas, a retired NY Conference pastor. He is a friend and mentor and has been a faithful servant of God. If the Lord does not choose to give him more time with his family he will go to sleep in Jesus. We ask for prayers for Pastor T and the rest of the Thomas family. If the Lord calls him to sleep may our brot...her rest from his labors... "Well done good and faithful servant..." Have you thought about what will be said of your ministry when you reach the end of it? We are all ministers in one way or another.

We thank our pastors for their service #nyconf
We rounded out Compassion weekend with a meal delivery to our Community Police Department! They take care of our community, watch over the church, and have even... picked up trash off our front stoop. They were so appreciative that we thought of them during these times. The Joy of Troy Church feels humbled and blessed to have been used by God and be His hands in our community this weekend.
Compassion weekend continued. Today was a beautiful day to mow the lawn! Lawn mowing in our neighborhood, bringing a needed service to our quadrant. What a blessing to be His hands. #lovebetter #lovelikeHIM #lovemore #nyconfcompassion #NYConf
