However, often it can also improve your daily life. This is clearly evident with this patient of mine with heavy eyelids and brows - not only did this make her look tired and aged, but the extra tissue also blocked her vision. The good news if there is a functional, medical problem is that portion of the operation is often covered by your medical insurance. I performed an upper eyelid blepharoplasty (eyelid lift) and endoscopic (minimally invasive) brow lift, as well as a lower lid blepharoplasty to clean up her lower lids. She now has a more youthful, refreshed appearance, and can also see better.
