Finest started the season with a bang, defeating the Boldest in their home opener. Homeruns by Anthony Carnacchio, Brandon Torres (Video), Carlos Alcantara and PJ Rangone led the way for the Finest. Mike Camerada added a bases loaded clearing triple. Tyler Mitts pitched 5 shutout innings for the win. Finest next game will be on Thursday at Roberto Clemente State Park at 7:30 PM vs. NYC Thunderdogs.

The one constant through all the years, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. Do we break out some throwback All Navy Class A Uniforms for 2021 season?

It was a very unusual and rough season for the Finest and it definitely wasn't up to Finest Baseball standards. We finished in 3rd place in the Police/Fire World Series. We fought hard, played 7 games in 3 days, including 3 games in one day, but we fell short. We will regroup and come back stronger in 2021. Congratulations to Chicago's Finest on winning it all!

All we want for Christmas is a full season of BASEBALL!

Losing mommy and grandma has been tough to say the least. What I have found that’s brought me happiness ever since this happened is being around and knowing ama...zing/genuine people. Mommy was proud to wear the NYPD uniform. Honestly proud isn’t even the word. But truthfully, mommy was honored to be apart of the NYPD. I cannot thank them enough for everything they’ve done for me and my family during this tough time. They truly sent mommy out with complete honor. I received this package from New York’s Finest Baseball Team (NYPD) on behalf of my mom and grandma. I cannot put into words how much this meant to me and my family. Mommy wasn’t only an officer, a wife, a sister or a cousin...she was a BASEBALL MOM! Always supporting my siblings athletic dreams. Mommy is looking down and LOVING this...and again I cannot thank my Brothers in Blue of the NYPD Baseball Team enough for this. Love you guys. Stay safe out there
