As we await the results of the presidential election, the NYU College Republicans would like to urge patience. This race is far from over. Results are still being tallied in Georgia, Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Nevada, and we remain confident in the democratic process. We are also proud that the Republican Party has made significant gains in the House of Representatives, is most likely going to hold onto its Senate majority, and made significant inroads into minority communities. NYU College Republicans hope everyone enjoyed Columbus Day! We would like to urge the university to once again recongnize this holiday both as a means of honoring Italian heritage and Christopher Columbus’s integral role in our nation’s history.
