OBG wastewater expert Frank DeOrio has recently contributed to the Water Environment Federation (WEF)'s Wastewater Treatment Fundamentals publication series. This first book in WEF's new line of operator training covers all aspects of liquid treatment processes, including biological treatment, nutrient removal & disinfection.

Last week, Villanova University, University of Pennsylvania, Drexel University & Temple University came together for OBG’s SPARK Innovation Competition in Philadelphia. More than 70 students worked over 24 hours to find innovative solutions to some of today’s toughest energy, environmental & water challenges, with the winning team developing an urban renewal solution for homes built on unsuitable fill. #solvewithus

Last evening, our Milwaukee office came together for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk in support of its longstanding mission to find a cure for all blood cancers, and to celebrate and honor those touched by cancer. Our OBG team is honored to have raised more than $6,200 to support this effort and our community. Great work, team!

Kyle Bareither recently helped the American Society of Civil Engineers Wisconsin Section (ASCE - WI Section) to bring an educational STEM Outreach activity to local students at the Silver Spring Neighborhood Center in Milwaukee. A Gumdrop Geodesic Dome activity educated the students about triangles, which engineers often use when they design buildings. Check out photos from this fun event!
