Odd Balls

Well here we go again, we are at home and playing against one of our best back and forth opponents. Before I start, I would like to take the time to welcome back to our team a great player who we affectedly referred to as the Hammer, thats right I’m referring to Dot Brown, she has come back to Odd Balls on Wen. Night. Welcome back Dot. So we started off the night with the Crusher and that’s what happened to her as Tejas decided to have a great night and 3/0 her. Not a go...od start but Irene played well. Next up was Sunday Sue who brought her game and she and Colin play a strong match but Sue got the win , nice win Sue. Next up was the Hammer, she took on Dawna and did pretty good,she was able to get a win which was able to help us get 1 point which was greatly needed. Well done Dot. Next up was Bryan and he and Ken went head to head and it was a great match to watch, it was to be Bryan’s night in the end, this made it a great night , but we were still behind so we sent in the Accountant, he came to balance the books and that what he did in a great match against John. We ended with a ty . Not a bad night, we had a great night and I want to thank our opponents for a great night of fun. Well we are across the street this Wen. See everyone there. See more

Well we should have stayed home this week, first of all we are short one player and then I have 3 team mates call out sick, this cold and stomach flu is hitting hard. We still tried and Rob started out and was able to give us one point and game made no sense as he had a great run to start but Pam came back with a vengeance . Next up was the crusher and that what happened to her she was crushed by Gary, sorry Irene just not our night, next up was Bryan and tho the fact that he... played well Ian was no match for him , next up was the Captain and Mike and we finally put 2 more points on the board, we forfeited our last match and called it a early night. We had a great team to play against and if we have a full roster they are hard to beat , we just should have called in. Thanks guys great night we did have a great night even if we did get our asses kicked. On another note I am looking for a 2 a new two to join my team, if anyone knows of someone who would like to play , learn how to play or just wants to have a night out on Wen, nights to just have a great night out with friends please contact me on this page or my personal page. Well this weeks game was a special night for we were not only playing our normal matches we were also playing for the first place Trophy’s , for last session. As we were playing against Murderers Row this was played at Gallery Billiards , we started the night off by sending our Sunday Sue against Chris , was a great match as Sue started off strong and brought us a great win to start us off , nicely done Sue, we then sent up the Captain, who was up against Annie who gave our C...aptain a lesson on how to rack, well played Annie, nice 3/0 win. Sorry Captain better luck next time. Next up was Amy against John Paul, this was a one sided match as Amy came to win and that’s what she did, well played Amy. Next up was our Accountant against Ben, this was not a good night for our Accountant as he did not seem to have brought his balancing books with him as Ben was in total control of this match. Our next match was the most important one of the night as it was the one that would decide who would win the first place Trophy’s and the match , and this is going to be desided between our Mo Town and the Jet Man Jeremy, we got to see some great shooting but it was all Mo Town as she was in the groove,nicely played Morgan. This great playing got us the match and more important we got our first ,first place Trophy’s in a long time. Like to thank our sister team for a great night of fun. Well we were on fire Wen. Night, we got to play against a new team, like to welcome Stroke and Poke to our family of Wen. Night teams, they were fun to play against, we started off the night with our Captain taking on a new player, Mark, and the Captain had a great night and gave our team a 3/0 lead, next up was Jeff against William and that was a great game for Jeff and he gave us another great win with a 2/0 win, nicely done Jeff. Next up was the Crusher, and she was to tak...e on Jeannette, a very strong player but the Crusher was on her game and got us a very nice 2/0 win. Well played Irene. Next up was the Amy match, that is our Amy J. Against their Amy V. , this was a great match , our Amy came ready to play and that’s what she did by giving us another 3/0 win. Well played Amy J. Next up was our Sunday Sue, against Rafael , even tho Rafael started strong he proved to be no match for our Sunday Sue as she took 3 games in a row and gave us the match, but Rafael did his team proud and got them a point, well done Sue, we really had a great time with the new team and we know that the next time we meet it will be a great fight, thanks to them for a super night. Well we are at home next week and you all know what is at stake this week, so bring your best , a repeat of this week would be great, ok see everyone at home next week. See more

Well looks like the pool gods were with us in our last match. We played against Shoot now or later, and we started off with Sunday Sue playing against Mike and she came to win. And that’s what she did , nicely played Sue, next up was the Accountant against Larry, well the Accountant sure balanced the books with a nice 3/0 win, nicely done Rob, next up was the Crusher and that’s what happened, she was crushed by Steve, this was just not your night Irene, but a well played matc...h, next up was the Captain against Robin and it was a great match as they went to a double hill and the Captain was able to bring home the win, and last but one of the really great match as Bryan and Steve battled it out with a back and forth start but Bryan was able to bring home the win, nice shooting Bryan , so we brought home a win well played team.
