COVID RENT RELIEF: COVID Rent Relief Program will be reopened with expanded eligibility criteria. Applications will be accepted starting at 9AM TOMORROW (December 18) thru February 1, 2021. Applications are available here: https://hcr.ny.gov/rrp

CLOSED: OFO will be closed Friday, December 25th, in recognition of Christmas Day holiday. Emergency Housing and VIP shelters and hotlines will still be available to those with a need. OUTDOOR FUN: The children in Ms. Sutliff’s classroom at the Oneonta Head Start Center headed outside to enjoy the fall weather on the playground. The children took turns pretending to drive a boat and crawl through an imaginary bear cave. The children have been learning about changing seasons and were filled with excitement to see the leaves fall from the trees. The teachers have planned fun wintertime activities for when the center reopens in January and lots of time for t...he children to go outside to explore the snow. ---------------------------- Head Start is now accepting applications for the 2020-2021 school year. To enroll children must be three years old. Head Start also provides support to prenatal mothers and children up to three years old through Early Head Start.
