Hi all I am offering 6 walking tours of historic Schuylerville this weekend. These Just the Facts tours will focus in on the 300 plus years of history in our historic community. The goal is for an educational and fun introduction to the history of our fascinating community. The community was the site of multiple battles, the turning point of the American Revolution, Mills and Canals and so much more. Each tour will be different and due to Covid -19 they will be limited... to no more than 10 people (face masks and social distances required.) His work is focused on research and writing, teaching and public presentations, historic preservation and organization, advocacy and tourism promotion for the town. Kelleher was a Commissioner for the New York State French and Indian War 250th Anniversary Commemoration Commission. He was the Marketing Committee Chairman charged in part with commemorating 7 events over 5 years. Kelleher created partnerships commemorating p the 225th Anniversary of the battles of Lexington and Concord in 1775 and the invasion of the Champlain, Mohawk, and Hudson Valley in 1777.
