Oneonta State Equestrian Team

Tickets are on sale now!!! The Oneonta State Equestrian Team is hosting the 6th Annual Benefit Luncheon on April 15th, 2018 at 12pm in the Otsego Grille at SUNY Oneonta. This year, our team's beneficiary is The Marley Fund - a foundation that raises money for our equine friends at Upstate Equine Medical Center to get the lifesaving medical care that they need if they come in without anyone to pay for them. We are in search of donations for the silent auction at the luncheon! Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at tickets.oneonta.edu by registering as a guest if you are not a student. ALUMNI ALERT!! OSET alumna Stephanie Macri is also graduating from Oneonta today!! Stephanie graduated last May with a degree in dietetics and started her combined grad program and internship this past August. Today Stephanie is graduating with her MASTERS in nutrition and dietetics and will be moving to Florence, South Carolina to be a clinical dietician!! We will miss you so much at horse shows Steph, and we hope you find lots of big brown warm bloods to snuggle with, but you’re always welcome home to play with the ponies. Good luck and Congratulations!

Last but most certainly not least is our senior Morgan Westbrook! Morgan has been a very busy gal but has always made time for the team. She joined us her second semester at Oneonta and showed that semester. Today, Morgan is graduating with her degree in Childhood Education 1-6 and she will be moving to South Carolina to teach!! We will miss you tons Morgan, congratulations!

Happy Graduation Day!! To finish off our senior spotlights we’ll have our last two seniors today. First up is Amy Miller! Amy has been a member of our team since her freshman year but has been riding for about 7 years now. She showed beginning walk trot canter through novice in the middle of her OSET career! Today Amy is graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and will be taking a gap year to gain some experience before applying to grad schools. Congratulations Amy!!
