Few photo clips of virtual show, Oil In Guyana, Discovery On The Runway, promoted in March, 2020 at the Tryp Hotel, Timesquare and postponed due to COVID19. Thi...s show was inspired by various abstract paintings of Guyana's culture, people and landscape. Clips in this post feature a summery paint to print collection pulled from fine art painting, Oil In Guyana, which appeared in Connecticut and New York (Queens' pop up events, Gracie Mansion and NYFW 2019). Earlier on, we featured Midnight Kaieteur and Fowl In Dee Backyard and now we continue this exploration of flora and fauna amidst ongoing oil exploration in Guyana, South America, sharing clips of the program exhibits. Facts about Guyana: Located at the equator atop Brazil. Guyana used to have trains and Kaieteur Falls is still one of the highest one drop fall in the world. Guyana has many water falls with the country's name name inspired by the abundance of water falls. The country's cuisine was recently featured on National Geographic's Uncharted with Gordon Ramsay. Fashions of the country are drawn from six cultures with classic inspirations from designer names, Michelle Cole, Randy Madray, Roger Gary, Dr. Sonia Noel, Max Starzman, to name a few. Ashvini Persaud and twin sister, Ush, students of St. Joseph High School, Guyana's National Culture Center, Henry Rodney, Andre Subryan, Nadira & Indranie shah, are added now as paint to print artists/fashion designers. They celebrated their 10th Leap year birthdays with their artistic tribute to Guyana. It is noted that many women of Guyana sew and designed much of their own clothing historically as a skill for hire and form of economy. Thanks to our participants, who hail from various parts of South America, the Caribbean and United States. Note the wording: "during" COVID-19, not "due to" What is this really? A back door to cancel rent. Courts can issue a money judgement against tenants rather than a possessory judgment and warrant of eviction. In other words, Property Owners get a court-ordered I.O.U. Practicality to actually enforcing that money judgement is very difficult, effectively making it useless in most cases.
