INTERESTED IN TECHNOLOGY, PUBLIC POLICY, EDUCATION OR HELPING YOUR OWN COMMUNITY? Then consider becoming a 4-H Tech Changemaker!! We are anticipating a new round of grant funding and are searching for 1-2 youth who are willing to make a commitment in 2021 to help bridge the digital divide in Orleans County. Contact Kristina for details and to apply [email protected] youth who meet the commitments will be awarded a $500 scholarship at the conclusion of the project.

We're currently holding a 4-H frozen pie sale. These pies will be made to order and prepared in the fairgrounds kitchen. You may chose between apple double crust and apple with crumb topping, made of course with Orleans County apples! Proceeds from the sale will help to cover the cost a convection oven to be used by 4-Hers and to make pies for the 2021 fair! Pre-orders are open now at www.orleans.cce.cornell.edu There are only 50 pies available for pickup on November 23 and 24.

For those attending, we will be using the same system we did last week of holding cars in a parking lot until we are ready. This eliminates the long line, but not the wait!!!!!! If you come at 10:00 AM you might be sitting in your car for hours. Please consider this. Last week we were onsite and still had food up until 6:30. We have food for another 50 people left here at the fairgrounds right now. Head on over and we'll load you up.

Today Is the DAY!! If you know a student who likes computers , tractors, drones , cameras , videography, plant & animal sciences, and many more STEM related topics; We have an exciting challenge for them! The Orleans County (4-H) STORY Group will begin with a Zoom meeting on October 15th at 4 pm. Email [email protected] to join in!
