I’ve had the honor of completing training in Dr. Steven Typaldos Fascial Distortion Model over the past few years. It is an anatomical and physiologic model of medicine developed by an American physician who witnessed many patterns of pain and disability in his emergency patients fit into specific distortions in the connective tissue. In this model, how the patient describes the pain is just as important as where it is. Most of the treatment is done with our hands, but some ...distortions use tools like suction cups, plastic clips, and yes, a silicone plunger!
