Oswego Writing Institute was so fortunate to have Todd Strasser and Tonya Bolden share and inspire us with their writing journey. Todd was a great example of how writing takes courage to tell your stories. His trip down memory lane of the Summer of '69 was packed with so many emotions. Tonya reminded us that "all history is everybody's history". Her passion for writing non-fiction demonstrates how history provides a way for us to understand the present. Thank you to our authors for sharing their craft and inspiring us to use these techniques in our classrooms and in our own writing.
