As we start to open up...You do You, I'll do me. That's what America's about. None of us have the same circumstances (medically high risk child/family member or a business about to go under, etc.). Let's all stay in our own lanes and keep the judgment down as we begin to reopen. No one should feel pressured either way. Just a thought...As governors are trying to figure out how to ease back into normal, please remember: Some people don’t agree with the state opening...that’s... okay. Be Kind. Some people are still planning to stay home...that’s okay. Be Kind. Some are still scared of getting the virus and a second wave happening...that’s okay. Be Kind. Some are sighing with relief to go back to work knowing they may not lose their business or their homes...that’s okay. Be Kind. Some are thankful they can finally have a surgery they have put off...that’s okay. Be Kind. Some will be able to attend interviews after weeks without a job...that’s okay. Be Kind. Some will wear masks for weeks....that’s okay. Be Kind. Some people will rush out to get their hair or nails done...that’s okay. Be Kind. The point is, everyone has different viewpoints/feelings and that’s okay. Be Kind. We each have a different story. If you need to stay home, stay home...But Be Kind . If you need to go out, just respect others when in public and Be Kind! Don’t judge fellow humans because you’re not in their story. We all are in different mental states than we were months ago. My dog was given simparica flea and tick medication and after taking it he started to have seizures. ...I was not warned by his vet even though this was the second case I know of at this animal hospital. Apparently some %of dogs have this side affect and it’s lifetime. My dog will suffer this every few weeks for the rest of his life and every vet promotes this medication. Please help me share this info for the sake of other dogs and owners. Zoetis the manufacturer of simparica is treating this very cavalierly and will only deal with the vet and not me. I have spent at least $15,000 since October and this is now a lifetime condition. October 21, 2019: My sweet boy Lokum passed away from his seizures. Hi friends! My weekly update is great news! As per TOW supervisor Dave Berkstresser we are set to open with phase 2. It's very exciting, however very overwhelming at the same time. We have a long list of clients who've been canceled within the weeks we were closed and will be rescheduled as soon as possible along with those who have standing reoccurring appointments. If you had an appointment in place when we shut down and haven't heard from us by Friday May 22 please send u...s a message. Many changes are happening, and we are doing our best to make this a smooth process. Please be patient with us while we get this worked out. We will be limiting the number of guests in the salon at one time, and operating on an appointment only basis right now. It's just hair- I prayed for your family and cried when you lost your battle. It's just hair- I was there when your spouse passed. It's just hair - I was there for your 1st and last prom. It's just hair- I was there for your graduation. It's just hair- I was there when your parents passed. It's just hair- I was the first person you told you were expecting! It's just hair- I held your hand and cried with you when you experienced your miscarriage. It's just hair- I was there when you didn't like the way you looked. It's just hair- when you got offered your dream job and nobody else knew but me and you! It's just hair- when you met the person of your dreams and they proposed!! It's just hair- when all you wanted in the whole world is a hug from your hair stylist because you knew they'd give it to you with open arms! It's just hair- when you lost your job and didn't know what you were going to do. It's just hair- when you were getting a divorce and just needed to feel better about yourself. It's just hair- when you had a terrible day and looked forward to being able to vent without being judged. It's just hair- when you are about to go on vacation and can't wait to tell me all about it on your next visit. It's just hair- when you bought your very first home. It's just hair It's not "just hair" for some people You prayed for my family's wellbeing. You've all prayed for my children. Some of you have been with me since day one 30 years ago and stuck with me through the not so good haircuts. You are not just clients. You are family to me. I love making you happy and making you feel good about yourself. I love making you laugh! I miss you all terribly and can not wait to have you all back in my chair!! I didn’t write this, a friend shared it and I feel exactly the same. I do miss you all so much!
