119 years ago today, Annie Taylor was the first person to go 'over the falls' in a barrel. She survived in a wooden wine barrel cushioned inside with only a small mattress. She was a 63 year old retired school teacher trying to supplement her income. She couldn't get a job at Walmart in 1901!
