Town of Owasco, 2 Bristol Ave, Auburn NY OR the Drop Box located on the wall at the Town Hall, 2 Bristol Ave (the drop box is monitored by security cameras, do not leave cash in the drop box) Or Online at www.owascony.gov by Credit Card (with a convenience fee of 2.65%) or E-Check with a flat fee of $1.50 This option will be posted on 1/4 If you would like a receipt, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope. While cash is discouraged if you must pay by cash, you will need to make an appointment and you MUST have the exact amount. You will also need to comply with the Covid guidelines, wear a mask, and complete the contact tracing forms. Thank you for understanding, stay safe!

NYS was called in over 2 weeks ago to help with contact tracing and clinics. They are providing many resources, however, even with assistance, our Health Department cannot keep up. ... If you are positive, been exposed or experiencing symptoms, stay home. If you are waiting test results, stay home. Please do not go to the store or run errands. Start to make your list of where you have been. Alert anyone you have spent time with and share you are positive or have been exposed to a positive. The Health Dept will call but it will be days out. All counties in our region and across the state are experiencing this. Please stay safe!

T'was 3 sleeps before Christmas, and all through the town, people wore masks , that covered their frown. The frown had begun way back in the spring when a global pandemic changed everything. They called it corona, but unlike the beer , It didn’t bring good times, it didn’t bring cheer. Airplanes were grounded, travel was banned. Borders were closed across air, sea, and land. As the world entered lockdown to flatten the curve, the economy halted, and folks lost their n...erve. From March to July we rode the first wave, people stayed home, they tried to behave. When summer emerged the lockdown was lifted, but away from caution, many folks drifted. Now it’s December and cases are spiking, wave two has arrived, much to our disliking. It’s true that this year has had sadness a-plenty, we’ll never forget the year 2020. And just ‘round the corner - The holiday season, but why be merry? Is there even one reason? To decorate the house and put up the tree , who will see it, no one but me. But outside my window, the snow gently falls , and I think to myself, let’s deck the halls! So, I gather the ribbon, The garland, and bows, as I play those old carols, my happiness grows. Christmas is not canceled and neither is hope. If we lean on each other, I know we can cope... ANNUAL ELECTION OF THE OWASCO FIRE DISTRICT DECEMBER 8, 2020 Notice is hereby given that the Annual Election of the Owasco Fire District will take place on Dece...mber 8, 2020, between the hours of 6:00 pm and 9:00pm at Owasco Station #1, 7174 Owasco Road, for the sole purpose of electing one Commissioner for a five year term, commencing on January 1, 2021. Any person over the age of 18 years who resides in the Owasco Fire District is eligible to submit a letter of interest to have his/her name placed on the ballot.
