A message from Tami at the Vets' Home: Hello 6TH District American Legion family (ALA, AL, Sons and Riders) and other supporters, Thank you so much for your continued support in making the 6th District ALA activities at the NYS Oxford Veterans’ Home a fun and rewarding time. ... Due to the NYS COVID-19 pandemic restrictions at the NY Oxford Veterans’ Home they are not allowing any volunteer groups in the home now or in the near future. The enclosed Activities sheet [2 photos below] is for your information as the home will still hold our activities but without us. I will continue to supply them with whatever they need to hold our activities, this includes the Christmas Gift Give-away (no party this year). Therefore DONATIONS and BINGO monies ARE STILL GREATLY APPRECIATED. I understand that funds may be limited this year. Please consider donating whatever you can. Make sure you make the check out to: ALA 6th District, Oxford Home and mail it to my home address (6 Lillian Dr, Binghamton, NY 13903). DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT give your donation directly to the Home for our events as they have in the past deposited it and not given it to me to support our programs.
