Most of the time mold is found it's usually in an unused area of your home such as a crawlspace or attic. Since these areas aren't often looked at mold grows unchecked until it's found, usually by a home inspector. If you suspect mold is growing in your home give us a call.

This is the time of year for furnaces to start kicking on. Make sure you change the filter and perhaps service the unit if has been a while. A furnace puffback causes soot to fill your home and it requires cleaning everything. If you need you ducts cleaned get ahold of us!

This is some obviously moldy drywall in basement at a home for sale. It was a simple fix for us using the proper equipment to get it done. We were in and out in a matter of hours and all evidence of the mold was gone.

Be sure to periodically peek in your attic to ensure your building ventilation is working properly. Often times these areas are left unchecked until there is a home inspection prior to selling a house or the damage has become severe enough to be noticed from the living areas of the house. I had 4 of water flood in my basement, and was pretty devastated about how I was going to handle it. After cleaning up and throwing out so many things, I calle...d around for quotes to dry the basement out. I called a few different places, locally owned and national franchises, and Paladin was the first person I spoke to. Here's a local business that had some water damage in the concession area from a water pipe in the ceiling above. Paladin was onsite within 30 mins and had the debris from the wet ceiling tiles cleaned up and the water extracted before the moviegoers even left their seats at the end of the show! We were able to dry everything fast enough so there was no chance for microbial growth or odors and with a little extra effort moving the equipment each day the business was able to remain open during the drying process without a hitch.

We went into this basement with the understanding there were several inches of water that needed to be extracted. In reality there were several inches of mud that needed to be removed. Luckily the homeowner called us before it reached the finished area of the basement and kept this from being a major disaster!

Important tip: Be sure to check your basement for water when a storm like this comes through. Sump pumps are prone to fail or be overwhelmed by this amount of water. If water is found, call us! The drying process should start immediately to prevent mold growth, especially in a finished basement.
