This month’s PA103 Archives tribute honors Louise Ann Luann Rogers. A senior at the Maryland Institute of Art, Luann was returning home with her classmate Gretchen Dater after a semester in London with Syracuse University. She studied painting, sculpture, and photography and had recently changed her major from interior design to fine arts. She planned to work in fashion design after graduating. Luann’s friends and family remember her as funny, feisty, creative, and warm. Colorful and offbeat, Luann did everything with style. The Louise Ann Rogers Papers (https://bit.ly/3nRpbp0), including a photo album of Luann, has been donated to the Archives by her parents. We Remember Luann, and all the victims.

The 2021-22 Remembrance Scholars have been announced! This scholarship is one of the highest honors a Syracuse University student can receive. The 35 candidates selected to represent and memorialize those students killed in the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 undergo a rigorous and competitive application and interview process. This year’s scholars, as well as the 2021-22 Lockerbie Scholars, will plan the Remembrance events held at Syracuse University next year. The Pan Am Flight 103 Archives congratulates each of these outstanding students. We're excited to work with them as they fulfill the promise to "Look Back, Act Forward" in memory of those lost.
