Paris Gun Club

The pistol leagues have started! Plates on Wednesdays, 5:30 - 7:00PM, for .22 rimfire pistols. NRA Precision Pistol (Bullseye) on Thursdays, 5:00 - 7:00PM, for .22 rimfire and center-fire pistols. Non-members are welcome to attend. This is a great opportunity for novice shooter to learn and practice! Call your friends, get your gun, and come on up to the range!

Sporter Rifle League Starts 9/21 Our sporter rifle season is starting up again on Sept 21. This is a postal league where we shoot in our facility every Monday night against other teams throughout the state and northern PA. We have relays starting at 4:30 and 5:30. We are going to be holding a practice session on Sept 14 from 4:30 to 6:00. https://www.sporterifle.org/

NOTICE: Range Work Night Rescheduled for Thursday September 17th at 6:00 PM We plan to disassemble the backstop, service it and reassemble. There are a number of other work items that need to be accomplished. We will tackle them depending upon the number of volunteers that show up to work.

The annual maintenance event scheduled for 8/11 at the club is canceled. With the expected high temperatures tomorrow, we are acting of the side of safety and caution for our members. We will reschedule for some time later this month, or in early September.

HAPPY PATRIOT'S DAY! On this day in 1775 the first shots were fired in a long war for independence from the British Crown. The struggle for independence started many years before with petitions, protests, rally's, letters, and all sorts of civil disobedience. On April 18th, redcoats were sent on a midnight smash and grab-black bag mission to capture Sam Adams and John Hancock in Lexington, MA, and to also destroy the arms, and ammunition in Concord, MA. Over the night and through the day on the 19th, over 10,000 colonists from across New England responded to the alarm that the Red Coats were coming for their arms. The colonists that answered the call that day knew very well what they were about.

The Greenfield Fish and Game Club regrets to announce that due to the effects of the Wuhan flu, the Youth .22 rifle league scheduled for Tuesday's in April is canceled.

League Members: Due to events related to the Wuhan flu, and in an effort to protect our members, all current leagues are canceled for the season. This includes the Wednesday Plate league and Thursday Bullseye league. Sporterifle league already ended. Stay healthy, and look for the restart of all leagues this fall.
