The Door of My Lips I've been thinking about this verse a lot lately. I often pray it before I start my day: Set a guard over my mouth, LORD; keep watch over... the door of my lips. (Psalm 141:3) Sometimes it's time to speak. Other times, we glorify God more by remaining silent. May God give us wisdom to know when we should speak (or type) and when we should hold our thoughts inside of us. May our words not cause division or push people away from God, but rather, let our words bring glory to God and lead others to His wonderful love. ~Angela Forker *** copied

For God had something better in mind for us. ~Hebrews 11:40 (NLT) God provided something better for us in Jesus. As we study the book of Hebrews, we will learn as we study the lives of Old Testament heroes and the requirements of the law given to Moses, that the new promise is BETTER because Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of every OT law and promise.
