Congratulations Ron Hamm on your retirement after 38 years of service with Penn Yan Aero. Hands down Ron is the world's leading Continental and Lycoming Engine builder. It's been estimated in Ron's career he has built over 2000 engines. Thank You Ron. We will miss you !!

Here is a historical image we found that is really cool! Penn Yan Aero's Founder, Eagle Middlebrook behind the wheel of a 1941 (I think) Chevy Suburban Panel truck. No doubt he flew the Cessna Bobcat in the image as well.

Today marks my 1 year anniversary since joining the great team of people at Penn Yan Aero. The years of experience the team has and the drive to step up when needed is appreciated and amazing. Turbo Charged Thursday. Strong running Penn Yan Aero overhauled and in-house tested TIO-540-J2B. 350HP@2575 RPM. Good team effort by all the crew as always.

Penn Yan Aero engines are balanced adding performance and longevity, along with reduced wear, noise, and vibration. Our engines will run smoother with less vibration and stress on main and rod bearings while also helping other parts to last longer.
