All of us at Performance Auto want to take this time, with very heavy hearts, that on Thursday the 26th (coincidentally happens to be Thanksgiving) we will be holding a funeral for our pet turkey named Tom. We would never think to go against the draconian regulations put forth by our beloved Gov. Cuomo of only 10 people in a house at a time unless it's for a funeral, this just happens to be a coincidence . S0 if anyone happens to see an overabundance of vehicles at any of... our residences it is only out of reverence for our favorite pet who just happens to be a healthy 25lb butterball. Oh yeah, named Tom! In deference to Tom's wishes there will be no Public viewing. He wishes to be cremated at 350' for approximately 5 hours please send prayers and condolences directly to Performance Auto. Contributions can be made to PETA (people eating tasty animals). See more

CONSUMER BEWARE GLASS AMERICA out of Albany NY will not cover labor damage that they cause for installing a windshield incorrectly. Long story short, we had this company come out to our shop to remove and install a windshield so we could do some repair on a right side windshield post. They installed the windshield after repair and left a HUGE gap in the urethane at the bottom left corner of the glass allowing water to leak in. All the interior including seats, carpet and electrical wires and components had to be removed and dried out before being reinstalled. This company says this is not their fault and refused to cover the bill for labor time and towing charges incurred from the water issue in the cab of the truck.

In regards to the covid-19, we at Performance Auto would like to inform the public and all our customers that we made the "essential list". We will be open for business as long as we can continue to be. We would like to at this time, offer to help anyone that is in need with anything that we can. This will include pick up and drop off of your vehicle for all repair needs. This may be the best time get get those repairs done while you are not in need of your vehicle during the... quarantine. We have also decided to help in other ways that include but are not limited to, grocery delivery and prescription drug delivery (if allowed). Basically anything we can do for you, we will. Please do not hesitate to ask. You never know what we can make possible. Stay healthy and stay positive. We will make it thru this tough time together. Please share.
