Pet Haven Cemetery

The Onondaga County Sheriffs will be driving through the cemetery in the evenings. We have had some recent vandalism in several areas of the cemetery. I have spoken with a couple of folks, who have pets interred here, some are missing items, others have statuary broken on purpose. Please if you see something amiss, let us know. if you see someone doing damage, please call 911, they are aware of the situation.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we will be unable to hold our annual open house this year, on the 2nd Sunday in September, which is National Pet Memorial Day. We find we will not be able to make social distancing possible. We do invite you all to to still come and visit your pets resting space and enjoy our peaceful cemetery. We hope to see everyone next year. In the meantime, please be smart, be safe and remain healthy. From all of us at Pet Pet Haven

Due to the COVID-19 virus, our suppliers are having a difficult time getting inventory from other countries, as they are on lock down. We still have our beautiful basic carved boxes, to return cremains in. For how much longer we do not know, as our supplier is out of stock and does not expect a shipment until the end of July. We apologize ahead of time for any inconvenience this may cause. We do have other beautiful, more decorative urns to choose from.

We are still here serving the pet loving public, in the loss of their pets. Still waiting for 2 weeks of dry and sunny weather, so that we may start interments of pets. We are diligent in disinfecting everything. We hope all of you are being smart and safe and healthy out there. These are such trying times for families who aren't working or have children they are stuck at home with. Keep the Faith, things will get better. We pray for all of you and your pets to be happy and healthy.

We are still here helping out the families that need us. The weather looks to be improving, we hope. Once we get 2 solid weeks of dry, warm and sunny days, we may be able to start our Spring Burials. We ask that you limit the number of people coming to just 5. We are sorry we have to put a limit on this. It is for your safety and ours. These are very So challenging and changing times right now, and everyone's health is in question. Be smart, be safe and be healthy.

Pet Haven will remain open during these very trying times. We are an animal crematory/cemetery. We are part of the veterinary care industry and deemed an essential employer. The hours will remain the same. We wish you all good health and want you to know we are here for you if you may need us. May God Bless you all.

Thank goodness the good weather Gods have been with us. Today we finished getting the wreaths up and on the plots. Of course it has been awhile since I myself, have helped. I did discover how very, very wet the grounds are. From the horrible rains we had late, and the snow that is still on the grounds. All of the summer flowers have been picked up also.

Well, The wreaths came in just in time for the snow to fall. Give us a few days to get them wired to the wreath stands. It may fall to us shoveling off the sections to find the different plots and this may take some time. So please be patient with us. They will be up before Thanksgiving

We had beautiful weather for Pet Memorial Day and a wonderful turnout. We even had some tv coverage from Spectrum News. We thank all of you who came and enjoyed the great food and company of other pet lovers. Thank you all who took a moment to remember your beloved pets. Sue
