In the midst of the #COVID19 crisis, #addiction is still a very real struggle made only more trying by the steps we need to take to keep each other safe. #Isolation makes #recovery extremely difficult, especially for those with co-occurring #mentalhealth disorders and many are found without available #treatment and support options as doors are closing. At Phoenix Houses of NY & Long Island, we are committed to keeping our doors open and supporting those through their recovery. We are here for everyone needing #addictionsupport. Help us continue our important mission through these difficult times by donating to our COVID-19 Fund and together we will overcome.

Dear Friends and Family, During this critical time, we are in need of your support to ensure all services continue uninterrupted. We are currently providing inpatient and outpatient treatment to over 500 patients, many of whom would otherwise face homelessness or lack of quarantine. Safety concerns are at the forefront of our thoughts. We aim to keep our doors open and maintain the quality of our important work while adhering to all CDC-recommended guidelines. While we know ...there are many needs in our communities, here are our most critical needs: -Food for the residents (In-kind donations of food or direct support given the increased demand for food) -Sanitizing and cleaning supplies (bleach, sanitizing wipes, paper towels, hand sanitizers) -For our community Residents Program- these residents live in our transitional houses and they need food and cleaning supplies for their own use to allow them to stay home and slow the spread of the virus Please donate today!: https://buff.ly/2y43MD8 #COVID2019 #coronavirus #NursesCOVID19 #recovery

We all need a little #reprieve in times of stress so the Hauppauge facility had a dress down hats and hoodies day for residents and staff. We’ll be sharing more ways we’re letting loose while adjusting to our new #covid19 realities. #SocialDistancing #WackyWednesday
