2021 Pleasantdale Trap Hi everyone, my name is Jon Morse and I will be chairing the Trap league this year. It’s that time of year again when we will be starting up the Trap League. I must admit were going to face some challenges this year with the pandemic still going on and what appears to a shortage of ammunition. So, I wanted to reach out to all shooters, or anyone interested in shooting to gage your interest in participating in the 2021 season. So typically, we start trap... the 1st week in January, with breaks for Superbowl & NASCAR, finishing up in March. As always, a delicious hardy breakfast will be offered as well as some opportunities for dinners to go on specified dates. The challenge as stated previously with the pandemic and what appears to be ammunition shortages, I just wanted to lay out an alternative option as well. Please take a few minutes to post a comment or shoot me a message on what you would prefer. I want to do what’s best for all us as well as the club. Either way we’re going to have a great time regardless. So just to reinstate the cost for everyone to shoot a round is $4.00 and if you wish to join the league it’s an extra $3.00 per shoot. (On the weeks we shoot doubles it would be $6.00) So if you interested, or just curious come on give it a try. There are plenty of members willing to show you and even lend you a gun to shoot. I encourage all members to spread the word, friends, family, lets see some new shooters, and show them what their missing. Remember this is open to anyone that’s wants to shoot, or just come to breakfast, The final dates will be determined on the Monday meeting in December 2020 which is 21Dec2020. If you could please take a few minutes to answer a few questions for the 2021 Trap Season 1) Are you interested in shooting Trap for 2021 ( If yes proceed to question 2-5 If No Proceed to question 5) 2A) Would you prefer to start in January ending in March OR (select one) 2B) Would you prefer to start in March ending in April 3) For the spring which would start in May would you prefer A) Tuesday Nights Wednesday Nights (Looking to run into June if participation is high) 4) Would you be interested in shooting Trap on Sunday Mornings for the month of August-September 5) Would you be interested in being on the Trap Committee This would involve, keeping score, loading trap house, helping out in the kitchen Thank you for your support and I hope to see you all when we start up. Jon Morse

I am looking to share the following with our local NY2A and Sportsmen folks. At 12pm on Thursday, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik will be holding a Town Hall meet...ing at the Moreau Community Center 144 Main St., South Glens Falls. REMEMBER THERE IS A DAY CARE THERE!!!! We are looking to get as many NY2A/Sportsmen supporters to show up early at 11am to take part in a sign wave to show support for our Second Amendment Right. We have word that the opposition will be out in force denouncing our 2nd Amendment Right and we need to counter this. Can you please share this with your contacts in the local Sportsmen Clubs so they know, or let me know who I should connect with so we can get as many people there are possible. Thank you.
