Special Meeting Notice: The Town Board of the Town of Pleasant Valley will be holding a Special Town Board Meeting on Friday, May 28, 2021 at 9:00am. The purpose of this meeting is to appoint outside council in regards to the workplace violence complaints.

The Pleasant Valley Town Board will hold a Special Town Board meeting on Friday, May 14, 2021 at 12:00PM at Town Hall 1554 Main Street Pleasant Valley, NY. The purpose of this meeting is to appoint a part-time Account Clerk.

The next Regular Town Board meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 7:00pm at Town Hall 1554 Main Street Pleasant Valley, NY.

Town Highway Update: After the most recent storm, the majority of our highway crew tested positive for COVID-19. We wish them well, and have started contact tracing. If you came in contact you will be notified. Update about the impending storm: There is a potential for some snow accumulation overnight tonight. Our Highway Superintendent John Baxter has been in contact with Dutchess County DPW, along with neighboring towns to help keep our roads clear and safe. Please be patient with us during this time.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions on public assemblies, the Town Board of the Town of Pleasant Valley will need to postpone the Special Meeting of February 17th, which was scheduled for the purpose of entertaining an application for rezoning submitted by Peckham Industries, Inc. The Town has been made aware of concerns regarding recently issued property tax bills and feel that this issue must be given priority. Town Hall will not accommodate the expected turnout provided both items are entertained at the same meeting. Therefore, the Town will cancel the Peckham Industries application and reschedule for a time when the public may be properly accommodated and the Town will review the concerns regarding the property tax bills at its regularly scheduled meeting on February 17, at 5:30 p.m.

Due to COVID-19 issues the Town Transfer Station will be CLOSED for both Friday, February 12, 2021 and Saturday, February 13, 2021. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but the safety of our employees and residents come first. At this time there has been no known public exposure. If there are changes the public will be notified immediately.

Due to the impending snow storm, all Town of Pleasant Valley Town Offices will be CLOSED Thursday, December 17, 2020 and will reopen at 9:00am on Friday, December 18th, 2020.

Due to the past and current inclement weather the Town Clerk's office will be offering another extended tax collection day on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 until 6PM. This is in addition to Tuesday, February 9th & Thursday, February 11th extended hours until 6PM. Stay safe everyone.
