ATTN: CUSTOMER APPRECIATION POST (a few of our fav fits pictured and tagged) Ok! We’re a few days late. But we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the past year & share a few thoughts as we enter 2021. 2020 was our toughest year yet! And I guess that’s no real news...who wasn’t it a difficult year for, after all? When the pandemic hit in March and we temporarily shut down our brick and mortar operation we didn’t know what the future would hold. The vast majority of our b...usiness was reliant on in-store traffic, nyc tourism and local support. And without tourism, foot traffic and so many fleeing the city early on for their safety we thought for sure it would be the end of the road. We watched many of our favorite local businesses in North Brooklyn shutter and didn’t know if we would face the same fate. But we bootstrapped ourselves as a one-woman-operation and hustled as hard as we could to take our little retail operation online overnight (special shout out to Instagram for providing a platform to help us through this time). And with a little elbow grease and the support of our incredible community we were able to re-open the doors, once the city deemed it safe, and stay open the remainder of 2020. In-store traffic and tourism is still hardly existent in NYC. And we’re still working on our e-commerce strategy. But we’re hanging in there, thanks to this community, and there’s a lot of exciting work ahead of us in 2021 that leaves us feeling so hopeful. All of this is to say - WE ARE EFFING GRATEFUL. We are grateful that we were forced to adapt our business model to this new normal. We are grateful to our small but mighty team who has had to work harder and smarter than we’ve had to before. We are grateful to all of the partners, consultants and vendors who we know have struggled through these times as well but are still showing up. We are grateful to everyone who has traded, sold or donated clothing to us this year. And most of all we are grateful to our many customers and this community - thank you for every giftcard purchase, every like, every share and EVERY. SINGLE. LAST.SALE; You’re the reason we’re still here and ready to kick 2021’s a$$. #ThankYou

This year has been difficult for all of us. And without YOU we wouldn’t still be here standing. Thank you for your endless support, purchases, social shares, clothing donations and trades and messages of support. We are grateful beyond measure for our community and to plus size babes everywhere fighting to love themselves in a world otherwise telling them not to. We see you. We love you. We appreciate you. DANG We have missed you babes! We are SO EXCITED to announce that we will be re-opening our store front next week on Wednesday, July 1st! Even though we were permitted to open at the beginning of phase 2, we wanted to take some extra time to be thoughtful and prepare with an abundance of safety precautions in place to welcome you back into our space. This is for both the safety of our customers and our team members. Here’s what you can expect:. Limited Store Hours - For now ...(summer), we’re planning to be open Weds-Fri from 1-6p and Sat-Sun from 12-6p FACE MASKS REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES TO SHOP WITH US (duh!) Sanitizing stations throughout the store will be available. We will no longer be accepting cash payments during the pandemic but do accept all major CCs as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay and more. We encourage contactless payments when possible using one of these payment methods Fitting rooms will be closed (no try-ons), but we will be extending a return policy to all in-store shoppers We will be buying resale and vintage in exchange for STORE CREDIT only at this time. No appointment is needed. You can drop off any time during business hours and we will review items within 3 business days Lastly, our owner, @alexisinbklyn, is 8 months knocked up and a high-risk pregnancy, so she is exercising extra care in her approach to opening the doors and ask you all do the same when visiting. Because of that, you might not see her face as often at the shop, but our Shop Manager extraordinaire, @partlypoisonivy, will be holding it down most days so swing by and share some socially distant love. We are tough New Yorkers and we are monitoring our phased reopening carefully. Should things change situationally with Covid, we will not hesitate to SHUT. IT. DOWN. if need be. The safety of our team and community comes first! For those far away or still practicing quarantine at home, we will continue to sell items online in our stories and on our website.
