all things considered, our first attempt at providing a "drive through" ham dinner on 10/21 was a success. we will be tweaking some areas, but we did make a good profit and will definitely consider it for next year. Our thanks to all our volunteers and to those who bought the dinners!

during the Months of Sept. and Oct. we are featuring our very own Poest. Fire Co. exhibit. Since they have been in existence since 1919, there is history there! please stop in and see our displays.....Mondays from 11-3; Saturdays 1-3 or call for appointment.

on March 28th, 7:00PM at the Poestenkill Town Hall our program features Tom Slavin - the ins and outs of BEEKEEPING. Tom brings years of knowledge to this rapidly growing profession. We hope you will join us. Questions? call 283-4890.

During the Months of February - March we are featuring an exhibit on the life of John Holser, whose property today is situated on our Poestenkill Flats, just before the Firehouse. We invite you to come and see how the lovely 79 acre farm developed from the days of VanRensselaer to the Holsers. We have many photos,news clippings, and literature about this famous farm.
