Poor Folks Snowmobile Club

Grooming update. From clubhouse to Malone's Irish Hideaway was groomed this morning. President Flack is currently out now grooming from clubhouse to where we meet up with the trail tamers in Hannibal. Only thing not groomed is from clubhouse to Fair Haven and back.

Absolutely perfect day to put some miles of smiles on the snowmobiles, don't get many blue bird days like today. If you can get out there and enjoy the trails, who knows how long winter will hold on. Enjoy the riding with family and friends. But remember to ride safe, stay on the marked trails, ride to the right and keep the rubber side down.

Another riding weekend is here. Who knows how long the snow will last so get out and ride while you can. It's pretty much rideable throughout the whole state which doesn't happen very often anymore. Keep it safe out on the trails, stay on the marked trails, ride to the right and keep the rubber side down. Also our friends from the south the Cato Trailblazers are having a hot dog roast today from 11-2 at there groomer barn. Stop in and see them, they are a great club and great bunch of people.

Winter has really arrived the last couple of weeks. Picked up another 4-6" overnight and more expected tonight and toward the end of the week. If all goes as planned the groomer will be going out tonight and tomorrow to get the trails in tip top shape. Get out and ride while you can, who knows how long winter will stick around. Also wanted to mention the club doesn't have a set schedule when the groomers will go out, it all depends on how much snow there is, who is available to groom and if they trails need grooming. Please remember to stay on the marked trail, ride safe, right right and keep the rubber side down.

Brrrrrr it's a cold one this morning. Fresh snow that has fallen across the area this week combined with the cold temps the trails will be the best of the season and maybe the best they have been in a couple year's heading into the weekend. It took a while for winter to arrive but it's been a snow globe since it arrived. More snow is expected into the weekend and into next week so the riding season should be here for a few more weeks. Remember ride safe, ride right and keep the rubber side down

Little trail update. Trails are open, conditions vary throughout our trail system. Some of the trails have been groomed others just not enough snow to groom. If anyone has been out riding please post on conditions. Doesn't look like much snow in the forecast so gonna have to do with what's out there now. Other area clubs. Sterling Trail Tamers posted they tried to groom, wasn't enough snow to groom. ... Cato Trailblazers have been grooming and reporting good conditions. All of their trails have been groomed and are currently out grooming right night (Friday night) Lakeshore and Williamson club have also been out grooming according to what has been posted on Facebook. Heading east Fulton club has also reported to be grooming. Just about the whole state has rideable snow right now. The trails up north have been excellent all week with low traffic and cold temps to help set up the trails. Get out and ride. Stay right, stay on the marked trail and enjoy the great outdoors.

Talk about a bad day out grooming this is guess happened out in Manitoba over the weekend. No idea if they got it out of that mess.
