Not sure who the original author is but this is very well done. THE LIFE THAT MANY WILL NOT UNDERSTAND: I own a motorcycle because of a personal life choice. One day when I am very old and when I can’t ride anymore, it will be in my garage as a trophy of my memories.... I have met people who taught me something and have the same spirit. I meet people now who get wisdom from me. I get wet, I get cold, And I have been hot, I was afraid, I even hurt myself, But also, I laughed out loud with the wind. I spoke a thousand times with myself and God. Still do. I sang and shouted with joy like a madman, And yes ... sometimes I cried. I have seen wonderful places because of motorcycles. I have made curves that even my Pop's would be proud of; other times I made curves full of terror. I stopped many times to see a landscape. I spoke with perfect strangers. I go out with frustrations inside and return home with a feeling of absolute peace in my heart. I always think how dangerous it is, knowing that the meaning of courage is to advance even feeling fear. Every time I go up to my ride I think about how wonderful it is. I learned through gestures to communicate with other riders. I spend money that I do not have, I gave up many things, but it's all worth it... A spirited ride this afternoon on the Africa Twin around the Southern Adirondacks. Last test before we head out on the MABDR in a few days. This bike is a lot of fun on the dirt roads, I'm learning it quickly and getting a lot smoother on it too. It's a lot of fun hustling a big heavy bike like this around on rough dirt. You wouldn't think it would be but it's really challenging!

One of our techs, Jeremy Popp, decided to enter his completely stock, Honda CRF250L in the Dual Sport class at the Claverack MX race last Sunday and got a 3rd place finish! This was against a field of 19 riders who were mostly on superior bikes and Jeremy on a 100% stock 250L right down to the cantankerous muffler. Next time out he will not be at such a disadvantage... :) He will be sporting one of our stroker kits with all the fixins.... Nice job kid!
