Welcome our newest member at Project Iron, Staff Sergeant Strittmatter! We are so glad to have you here and grateful for your service to our country! SSG Strittmatter brought some awesome Army National Guard swag! But you're going to have to work for it. Join us in raising awareness to the suicide and mental health issues among veterans. An estimated 22 American veterans commit suicide everyday, according to the Department of Veteran Affairs report in 2012. The #22pushup...challenge was created to bring awareness to the issue. Let's see your 22 push-ups for 22 days in honor of the American Veterans suffering with mental health issues. Here's what you need to do: Starting June 1st, post a video of you on Facebook doing 22 push-ups. Tag us @projectirongym and some friends! Challenge your friends and family to join in. Do this for 22 consecutive days. Contact us on June 23rd to collect your swag. (Membership not required to be eligible for prizes.)

We just presented the check to Bath VA Medical Center Volunteer Services for $700! With more donations that came in this weekend, we have blown away our original goal. Your donations will help bring our local veterans in the CLC, joy and happiness this holiday season. While facing a global pandemic, our CLC veterans are feeling the weight of isolation from family, friends and visitors. We hope that our donation will help lift their spirits. ...
