CAUTIOUS COIFFURES Morgan Reed Salon 5540 Main Street Williamsville, N.Y. 1-716-633-1272... Text: 817-4416 A visit to a reputable village salon proved safely successful on Saturday. Morgan Reed, a cozy and carefully crafted business spells comfort, convenience, and quality. Not my first visit, but following ten or more weeks of coiffure celibacy, I needed remedial work. Emily, my pleasant and knowledgeable designated stylist, remained outside the locked salon to greet and temp me. She asked a few quick questions regarding my health which I agreed to. Once inside I was directed to an automatic hand-pump which dispensed hand sanitizer. A box of fresh masks was also available at the desk. I was engaged in a consultation at an immaculate, contemporary work station. Emily photographed my over-grown, aging, and suffering locks before and after my appointment. We commiserated with owner/operator Morgan, and collectively decided to blend in my new growth with a full-foil service. Six foot markers were secured to the faux-wood, laminate flooring. The shampoo station was separated by a well-crafted acrylic pine divider. Only three clients shared my appointment window. All were masked including the beauticians. I regretted embracing their smiling faces, however their professionalism and courteous demeanor made up for the loss. My hair resonated with a fresh design and cut worthy of a Toronto or Madison Avenue business. I moved forward with another service for next week, not telling which one. Emily, I learned, is a multi-talented aesthetician. Time to embrace change. Let's look great in the process.

PROSIT FT WILL TEMPORARILY CEASE SERVICE 32 North Cayuga Road Village of Williamsville, N.Y. 14221 Although Take-Away service is permissible at this time, Prosi...t has decided to utilize the next few weeks to re-organize and break from our routine of preparing Polish and German specialty presentations. Our recent collaborations with a famous and local Polish author on the subject of soup, stews and Krupnik, has placed us in a new menu category, I feel. We are redefining ourselves, and are looking forward to serving the village in a refreshed and unique way. Most importantly, I will miss the relish of stories brought by our weekly customers who've helped provide my inspiration. Some of which will be posted, albeit edited. Fit to print. Stay on board, Prosit is only a message away. Meanwhile, if any of you have any questions regarding formulas or preparation of your daily house-concocted menus, I'm happy to assist if only via a cartoon or some kinda kitchen comedy. Buffoonery is about all I can offer you right now. That's always been my secret ingredient. Until we meet again, stay who you are.

THANK YOU IS NOT ENOUGH PROSIT FT This weekend was an overwhelming reminder of how restaurants reach out to their communities. You can't even imagine how many f...olks showed up for dinner orders this weekend at Prosit. I'm just settling down this evening to catch up to the Saturday and Sunday Buffalo News articles and features I depend on for inspiration. Nevertheless, you all need to know how much we appreciate your support at this time. Our menu is so specialized, however we can adapt to your needs as well, as you have come to learn. We are indeed a team. We are only a call away. If Prosit needs to increase our hours to accommodate your family concerns, give us a call. We embrace change even as a backyard business, albeit regulated by village and county regulations, we are flexible to family issues. Believe me, I'm no stranger to tragedy or hard work. Come to us with your concerns. Let us bring hand-crafted Polish and German deliciousness to your table. Perhaps, an unlearned dessert. Once again, Thank you, from Team Prosit 32 North Cayuga Road Williamsvillle, N.Y. 1-716-239-5742 Text Is Best Orders: 1-716- 472-1028 email : chefschlau @ yahoo.com

VILLAGE DELIVERIES Two lovely women posing as the Queen and Princess of the Village of Williamsville suddenly dropped off a bag of paraphernalia related to the ...Village of Williamsville Soup Stroll, Saturday, February 29, from Noon-3 P.M.,to benefit FeedMore WNY. Soon after poking my nose in their vehicle, I learned it was Ellie Grenauer and Maria MacPeek, Co-Chairs of the Seriously Successful Soup Stroll. These Williamsville Business Association members work sleeplessly, not just organizing these culinary events, but orchestrating and delivering the tools necessary for all to compete. Yes, there are ballots included in the bag. No need to vote for Prosit's Polish Blind Czarnina if you're not exactly sure what this soup is. There are more than a couple of dozen delicious soups to sample. Just make sure you attend this exciting event so we don't disappoint our Royal Highnesses! FYI, Ellie Grenauer is owner of The Glen Park Tavern on Main Street, and Maria MacPeek is General Manager of the Irishman Pubs, Williamsville and East Aurora. Breaking News!
