San Antonio visit on the Riverwalk this past weekend

I’m staying tonight at the Menger Hotel which is one of the most haunted hotels in the United States and most certainly in San Antonio. On my way out of San Antonio I stopped by where I used to live, and EZ’s restaurant was still around. Michael Hodes and I used to go there. His favorite was the... cherry shake and we always got cheesy fries with ranch. Ate it and remembered. Stoped in Waco where my grandmother is buried and my great uncle Buck who was a survivor on the USS Indianapolis in WW2. There is a great movie about it and it was talked about in the movie Jaws as well where the sailors were in the water for 5 days. See more
