Meet the Teachers - Hi everyone my name is Andrey but I'm better known as Bboy Volk I have been dancing for over 10 years as a breakdancer or "Bboy". I was trained by one of the top ranked Bboy crews "Souljerz" from NJ. I placed and won many various competitions in the tri state area and I have performed on stage countless times. I have been teaching for 6 years in many different places from NY to NJ to FL I believe that in working hard and being determined you can achie...ve any of your goals, even flying I am excited for another season at QCD! Fun Fact - My parents are professional ballet dancers so I’ve had a couple of years of ballet training. Meet the Teachers - Hi QCD! My name is Mr. Walter Freeman & I am a rhythm tap teacher I have had the privilege to perform for two U.S. Presidents ; the British Prime Minister, the Chancellor of Germany , the President of Ireland & the President of the People’s Republic of China I have starred in two Broadway Shows including the three time Tony Award winning show ‘Black and Blue’. In 2002 I shared the stage in a sold out performance titled ‘One World Jam’ at Radi...o City Music Hall alongside Elton John, Boyz II Men, Chicago & Nelson Mandela. I have been featured in the following films - The Principal, World’s Greatest Dancers, Bojangles, Riverdance: Live in Geneva & Tap (starring Gregory Hines) I have taught Master Classes all over the world, including right here in New York where I was awarded the 2007 Tap Teacher of the Year by the American Tap Foundation. Meet the Teachers - Hello, my name is Nick Jackson but you can call me ‘Nico’ I’m a Hip Hop dancer from Poughkeepsie, NY & this is my first year teaching with Queen City Dance My style of dance is of my own creation entitled ‘Water Style’ with a focus on body waves, gliding, popping and locking. I started dancing at 5 years old, to Michael Jackson at family functions and local events As a teenager I formed my very own dance crew called Circus Freaks and we perform...ed together for 11 years, including an audition for ‘So You think You can Dance’ in 2015 I graduated from Poughkeepsie High School class of 2012 and from there I began my personal journey of mastering my craft. Dancing is my life and I can’t imagine where I would be without it The reason why I teach is to build confidence in my students, raise vibes & to have fun! I can’t wait to meet and grow with you all! I’ll be teaching Hip Hop on Fridays at QCD Fun Facts- When I’m not dancing, I’m a chef, an avid gardener and I love to travel I also have a twin brother & own a media company - All Black Everything

Meet the Teachers - Hi QCD! I’m Miss Cassie! I started dancing at the age of 3 at Wappingers Dance Educators and then began dancing and competing with Betty Jean’s Dance Studio in multiple genres at the age of 6. I was classically trained in ballet by Lucinda Ramson, who danced with Alvin Ailey as well as Mary Ribble who was trained by Andre Eglevsky.I furthered my education at Dutchess Community College, where I continued to dance, was given lead roles and implemented my... own choreography I graduated DCC with an Associates in Liberal Arts focusing on Adolescent Education. I went on to graduate from SUNY New Paltz in 2008 with a BA in Adolescent Education, concentrating in English I was the head instructor/choreographer for Got Rhythm? Dance Studio in Gardiner, NY from 2006 to 2016. I coached dancers for for college dance team auditions, drama productions, talent agencies & exclusive intensive programs Istill perform and stay active within the dance community, taking classes to further my professional development. I am dedicated to helping my students learn new genres, grow as unique individuals and most importantly, express their love for dance! I am so excited for Season 7 & my new musical theatre class at QCD! Fun fact about me - I am obsessed with Lady Gaga and as a fan we are known as Little Monsters!

I am Miss Monique and I teach Acro at QCD I started dancing when I was 5 years old and moved on to cheerleading and gymnastics over the years I have had the absolute pleasure of teaching competitively and recreationally in multiple studios across different states and have met some of the best people/dancers along the way I am so excited to start this season off in just a few days and I hope you’re all ready to come flip around with me Fun Fact: I am the eldest of five siblings #qcdseason7 #qcdfamily #qcdmeettheteacher #qcdpoughkeepsie

Meet the Teachers - Hi QCD! I’m Miss Jennifer and I’m excited to be starting my 2nd year with the awesome QCD family I started dancing jazz, tap and ballet at 4, loved it, and told my parents I wanted to be a ballerina when I grew up! I studied at the School of American Ballet for 10 years and was then chosen for the New York City Ballet, my dream had come true! I had an exciting career dancing and touring around the world Many years later I was awarded 90 life ac...hievement credits from SUNY Empire State towards the completion of my Bachelors degree I love children, (I have 2 of my own) which led to my 2nd career as a teacher assistant in Arlington schools, an immensely rewarding job I’ve been a ballet teacher and choreographer for over 20 years I’m grateful that I get to pass on my passion and knowledge of ballet to students of all ages. I truly love it Somethings you may not know about me is that I love fitness, I teach Pilates, and my favorite class at the gym is step aerobics. Meet the Teachers - Hey QCD Fam! My name is Jordan & I began dancing 3 years old after falling in love with dance videos on YouTube and old dance movies I performed on stage by myself for the first time at 7 years old for my elementary school talent show with a dance that I learned in my living room At 8 years old I began studying hip hop at Hudson River Performing Arts Center in Fishkill, NY & a year later I continued my studies at Dance Sensation and began competing at... 12 years old. In 2014 I began dancing & competing with Queen City Dance where I started to choreograph my own solos for competitions. I have received many competitive regional and national awards for my dances & choreography including Spirit of Dance’s Young Choreographers Award three years in a row I graduated from Arlington HS in 2019 & I am currently studying Sequential Art with a minor in Animation at Savannah College of Art and Design & will be learning remotely this semester due to COVID-19 I am grateful for the opportunity to continue to share my love for dance & will be teaching Hip Hop on Monday’s & Thursday’s at QCD Fun fact about me - I took some time off from dance to try and play basketball because I was so tall but I wasn’t very good...so I went right back to dance
