A very special thank you to our very own Margarita Santana for organizing Red Ribbon Week in Rockland County. She was able to coordinate with all the Rockland C...ounty Police Departments and have them honor fallen DEA agent Kiki Camarena by wearing Red Ribbons all week. These are photos of the officers receiving the ribbons. They are from the following police departments: Ramapo, Suffern, Spring Valley, Clarkstown, Haverstraw, Piermont, Orangetown, South Nyack-Grand View, and Stony Point. Here is how it works Instagram Auction Information 1) Have an Instagram Account...if you do not go to apps and search instagram and download. Follow instructions to join. 2) If you are not following Friends of Recovery Rockland please do now. To follow while on your insta page: search by hitting the magnifier on the bottom of the page and then the next screen will show a gray search bar on top. Type in Friendsofrecoveryrockland, then click the blue Follow button. (I will get a notification you are now following! 3) There will be approx 2 weeks of photosmbeing listed (provided we have a good number of donations) with Auction information. 4) The Photos are only listed once - during the Pre-Auction period, comments on the photos will turned off. This time period will be to shop around and see what will be available. Commenting will then be turned on at the start of the Auction. 5) The Auction will officially begin on 10/25 at noon...there will be a moderator(myself and others depending on the amount of donations) to verify everyone’s bids are being placed properly. If there is an error the moderator will correct it and explain. 6) Once the Auction is closed all winning bids will be officially announced on each post. 7) Payment is to be made directly to RCADD via PayPal by the winning bidder. We will supply the Paypal information to all winning bidders. Winning bidders are to send payment to the RCADD Paypal account (the amount of the winning bid). 9) IF THE DONOR IS NOT PAYING SHIPPING THEY MUST BILL THE WINNING BIDDER FOR THE SHIPPING AMOUNT SEPARATELY. 10) A screenshot or receipt of proof of payment is to be sent to the donor prior to the winning item being shipped. RCADD may also provide confirmation of payment. 11) RCADD will send letters of donation receipt to both the donors and winning bidders.
