Thank you to Julia Endecott, the 2020 2021 International United Miss North New York Teen. As one of her community projects, she reached out to RCSD PreK. Julia, her mom, and their church donated more than 200 pumpkins and decorating kits to the RCSD’s Pre-K program! Miss Endecott dropped the donations off yesterday to Rebecca Boyle and Eva Thomas at Rochester International Academy. From there, Pre-K teachers will pick up the pumpkins and decorating kits and work on projects with students via Zoom. Adult family educators, parent liaisons, and teachers are also delivering these items to some of the students’ homes! Thank you again to Miss Endecott for her generosity.
We are joining the challenge! Staff members have received notification on how to participate in the United Way of Greater Rochester 21-day racial equity challenge. Develop a deeper understanding of how inequity and racism affect our lives and community.
