This Friday, September 11th, the Orangetown Police Department will hold their annual ceremony for September 11th on the lawn at Town Hall, in front of the Memorial to those who were lost on September 11th or have died since, due to illness from working down at Ground Zero. Social Distancing will be in effect and if attending, please wear a mask. The Orangetown PBA will provide beverages for those in attendance and the Town of Orangetown will be LIVE streaming the ceremony on ...Facebook for those who are unable to attend. The Town of Orangetown, which plays host to out annual Rockland County St. Patrick's Day Parade is hosting a "Virtual 5k" to benefit local food pantries. The V...irtual 5K, runs from May 1st through May 17th and you can run or walk anywhere you like - just make sure you adhere to Social Distance Rules that are in place. A $35 entry fee includes a t-shirt and 100% of the net proceeds will be donated to local food pantries in the Orangetown area.
