TBT Reliable origins! 17-year-old Frank J. Fee emigrated from Ireland and arrived on Ellis Island on New Year’s Day 1889. Embodying the American dream, the industrious young man quickly established himself as a business owner in the plumbing profession in New York City. With 2 patents for improved link sprinklers, he founded Reliable and began sprinkler production in 1920. 100 years later under the leadership of FJ’s grandson Kevin T. Soon to be on display in our Liberty, SC manufacturing headquarters, this vintage 1950s cabinet was designed to house sprinklers to be used as replacements in event of damage or activation of a sprinkler.
