REPARATIONS . Jordan closed out the Exodus series on Sunday with a message about reparations. God requires repayment for *every* offense, as we see all throughout scripture. That is good news when we look around at our broken world and long for justice on earth, as it is in heaven. . But the fact is, compared to our holy God, we have all fallen short. The rain didn’t stop us from showing Harlem some Christmas cheer yesterday with our annual Toy Store! We were honored to serve over 180 families with gifts this year. . We worship a bountiful, generous God. What an honor to reflect Him in this small way to our neighbors.

In my Father’s house are many rooms; if not, I would have told you. I am going away to prepare a place for you. -John 14:2 . Walks in the neighborhood these days almost feel like a gift from our God who is generous and abundant.

Ok ok... we know we sorta cheated. But we can’t get a good pic of all y’all on zoom at once. . Even still... look at the goodness of God. The dreams of a group of people in a living room come to life. We are glad you are with us on this journey.

This is a truth we know in our bones: the past can help us grow... if we let it. We are experiencing that in America right now with a pandemic and with this racial reckoning. It’s true in our families as we look back through our ancestry to understand patterns and behaviors spanning generations.
