Issued in September, the third edition of the travel ban placed varying levels of restrictions on foreign nationals from eight countries: Chad, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Syria, Venezuela, Somalia and Yemen.

Under the bill, co-sponsored by Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-Calif.), immigration enforcement activities would be suspended in areas where the president has declared a major disaster or emergency under the Stafford Act.
