On June 1st my band will be dropping our first "Quarantine" video. All recorded remotely.

Thanks to Scott Minafri for sending me down a Rabbit Hole :) and for turning me on to tracks that are stripped of certain instruments allowing you to track your own performance to them. In any event, this is one of those songs I wish I had tracked my bass too. Tears for fears are one of my all-time favorite bands and in tribute to Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith I recorded myself playing along to one of my favorite pop songs of all time "Everybody wants to rule the world". The ...original bass track is removed and replaced with my own bass in Pro Tools. My bass levels are slightly elevated so that you can hear that it is actually me playing on the track. I had a blast recording this last night! I also posted the bass-less version in the event other bass players want to have fun and track your own bass lines. I used my Sadowsky NYC 5 String. Thank you to Mariya Pruss and Eve Lesov for inviting me to record bass tracks for this new song. This is the first track out of the gate from my home studio collaboration with Eve Lesov producing the musical content. The first version of this track which you can find on singer, songwriter, actress and in my opinion model Mariya's Soundcloud page is an electronic version of this track.
