We put a program up on Google's One Today program. What is that? It is a new program from Google that utilizes an app for androids for donations to non profits. People are asked to give $1 for a non profit that they recommend. Ours is called "Art Bags For Kids". It has only been in existence for a couple of months. Art Bags for Kids are nice big canvas bags with filled with art supplies and art ideas to brighten the lives of children who are at home due to illness or disability. These children who are not able to participate in a regular school program have less ability to interact with other children. The power of art is healing and motivational. It can enhance the quality of life. I believe that art has the ability to heal people physically and mentally. Many art therapy professionals around the world concur with this. But how do we reach children who can benefit from art?
