RISE BAR is seeking it's next RISING STAR! New York City is filled with untapped talent and we want to feature it! All vocalists welcome! After five tremendously successful seasons, Rise Bar's talent contest returns! RISING STAR 6 will be on TUESDAY nights this winter.... Hosted by actress and comic EMILY MCNAMARA Sound by DJTK The RISING STAR 6 competition begins Tuesday January 28th. Singers will compete in a 8 week elimination style contest for a $1000 cash prize and a produced, paid solo show at Rise. In addition to the cash and prize package, RISING STAR offers networking opportunities with celebrity judges, fantastic exposure, and valuable live stage experience. Finalists will be selected based on a live audition. Auditions are Tuesday January 14th and Tuesday January 21st at 10pm All styles and genres are welcome, unique is encouraged! Prepare a song of your choice to a track. Please bring your track on an iPad, iPod, or iPhone. You may also email an .mp3 ahead of time to [email protected].
