Since we'll likely be ringing in the new year at home, why not cue up some entertainment? Our theme for our special New Year's Eve open mic night will be *Timeless Music for a Specific Time*. Mosaic in reclaimed and new Venetian and Murano glass smalti, vintage dalle de Verre (cathedral glass), 24kt gold leaf smalti, copper wire, pigment, cement. All materials were cut by hand and placed tiny piece by tiny piece into cement using direct method.

Jeff White had sponsored several excursions through the Rockefeller Preserve. Strangers were paired to hike and carve a line into a piece of plywood provided for them. White then transformed them into 17 distinct works, on view at the art gallery at the Rockefeller Preserve through Sunday, October 25. Jeff White. "All But Blue" and "Cherry Door".

Susan Richman used ethically-sourced flora and fauna to create a fantasy world in her new series, "Jenga". Richman's photographs offer a commentary on global warming and the fragile state of the natural world. Is it possible for human beings to survive in an environment that is collapsing? "Jenga" is currently on view at the Upstream Gallery through Sunday, October 25.
