Cool Atari paper from 1980-1981. A "Merchandising Tips to Sell More Atari Video Games" pamphlet for store owners and Atari Repair Service ad with United Radio contact info on the back. Neat stuff!

I picked up a Nintendo Wii U store demo kiosk last week, and decided to re-purpose it as a multi-game kiosk. This is the sign from the top. Pretty cool on it's own as a game room decoration!

Check your local Wal-Marts! They're always clearing out games around this time of year. Lots of titles for $5-10!

Starting 2017 off right with a huge collection purchase! We picked this up from a really nice collector/modder in Syracuse this weekend. This one had some pretty obscure and interesting items, including rare consoles like Jaguar CD, JVC X'Eye (a console that can play both Sega CD and Genesis games), and a Pioneer LaserActive (Plays laser disc movies/games, Sega CD, and Sega Genesis!) Many of the consoles are AV/S-Video modded, and some have other interesting mods as well. Ar...ound 500 games for a variety of systems, including a 115-game Dreamcast collection, Laserdisc games and movies, Jaguar & Jaguar CD games, Coleco Adam cassette games, and more! Many items will be for sale after cleaning/testing. I know I've been lazy with this page recently, but I've made a commitment to post finds and interesting information here regularly. Thanks for looking!

Repaired a somewhat rare video game console today! Sega Genesis Model 1 consoles with "High Definition Graphics" printed on the top are sought after for their superior audio/video over the other Genesis models. This console is different, though, and prized over all of the others - it is a non-TMSS (Trademark Security System) console. This is an early variant of the "High Definition Graphics" Model 1, which skips the licensing screen that shows before every game boots up. Ent...husiasts also claim that the non-TMSS console has slightly superior audio and video to TMSS model 1s. As a result, the non-TMSS Sega Genesis Model 1 is more valuable among collectors than the other models of the Genesis. How do you know if you have a non-TMSS console? You can make an educated guess without even turning it on, by flipping the console over and checking the FCC ID. If it says "FJ8USASEGA", it is NOT the non-TMSS. If it says "FJ846EUSASEGA", there is a good chance that it is a non-TMSS console and you can verify this by turning the console on and checking for the "Produced by or under license from Sega Enterprises LTD." screen. Non-TMSS consoles are hard to find - roughly 1 in 10 "High Definition Graphics" Model 1s are Non-TMSS. Good hunting!
