Well we are doing what everyone else is. Trying to get snow cleaned up. It’s going to take awhile to get it all done. The scales will take awhile to get cleared and cleaned all around (a lot of work) . You can try calling after noon or so. Otherwise we got our work cut out to get opened up if we even can today. CALL BEFORE EVEN TRYING to come in. If no answer. Leave a message. Otherwise check back here for updates if we are opening up.
I know I don’t need to tell you all... But we are Closed. Holy cow! I guess the weatherman got this one right. Makes me think of 93 and 96. Well if you get yourselves dug out. Be sure to check on your elderly neighbors. Make sure they are safe and maybe a drive by to be sure their roof vents are clear. This is heart attack snow. Just too much for a lot of folks. Stay safe and be ready for power outages. We should expect some. Get some water drawn and make sure everything is charged.

Sending our condolences to The Greene family on Bob Greene’s passing. He celebrated a huge milestone of 100 years this year. Our community is a bit dimmer without him. He was an asset to our community for so many years. Again our deepest sympathy to the Greene family. Greene’s Ace Family we are thinking of you all.
Happy 4th of July everyone! We hope you enjoy the day.
In case you haven’t heard, Friday, June 26th starting at 6:30 pm, there will be a parade to celebrate all the Whitney Point Graduating Seniors! The parade wil...l start at the fair grounds, go down Route 11, down Main Street, down railroad street and will continue to Collins Street. It would be truly amazing to have the streets filled to honor these students! Of course, please practice social distancing and wear a mask when needed!! The rain date is scheduled for the 27th. Feel free to share this post over and over!!
Today we honor those who served and gave the ultimate sacrifice to their country. Those men and women are why we enjoy the freedoms we have. They are the ones who’s families lost a part of them for us to be able to enjoy the opportunities that we do. It’s about them. Those who sacrificed the ultimate price for country. Memorial Day.. it’s not the 4th of July and it’s not about parties. It’s a time to remember those men and women and what they fought and died for.
Happy Halloween Everybody!
Better hurry and get your fall clean up done. Snow won’t be long in coming. It’s time to tidy up so you have room for those dreaded snowbanks. We have roll offs available for your metals! Reserve yours today before someone else beats you to it!

I wanted to take a moment and wish everyone a Happy Easter. I hope you all have a great day for what circumstances we are all in and not being able to be with our family to celebrate the day. We are thankful regardless. We are doing this social distancing thing so that we will be around for many more to come. Happy Easter and May God Bless You All.

I know it sucks and I’m sure everyone is clawing the walls. But it for the sake of humanity that we do our part. Slow this thing down. Give our medical professionals a much need breath. Take care of yourselves everybody. Pray if you do and hold onto hope this is over soon. ~Peace to you all.
We hope everyone is doing well and doing their part of helping slow the virus down by staying home and following the CDC guidelines. Boy it’s tough to sit and watch so much tv and trying to find ways to keep busy. If anyone has some ideas of things folks can do or to keep the kids busy. Please feel free to post here. Give others some ideas. Not like we have much else going on right now.

We have had to make changes over the years to adjust to how we do things to better improve the business. This will be no different. We are making some drastic changes to conform to the times in the scrap metal recycling business. We will be better able to be competitive doing these changes.
