What is a "passing" or "failing" radon test? Even though the EPA says you need to take action when a test reveals 4 picocuries per liter and the World Health Or...ganization recommends mitigation if levels are any higher than 2.7 picocuries per liter, technically there is NO level of radon that is safe. Therefore, a "passing" result could still have you and your family breathing unsafe air. Hire a mitigation company that works to get the levels as low as possible and make sure you do a follow-up test to ensure you got results.
We do Radon testing too!

This was from a job we completed a few weeks ago, as you can see in the pictures we go to any length necessary to ensure the job we do is done right. We hand dig any insualtion out of the sofitts and install baffles to ensure proper air flow within the attic, maintaining good airflow is crucial to preventing future mold growth.
Hey Facebook, we just finished up a job out in Webster for some homeowners that plan to sell their house in the near future. Upon an initial home inspection they discovered some mold in the attic and called us out to take care of it. Did you know that most homes in our area have some degree of mold hidden in their attics? Yea, about 6/10 do and fortunately enough these homeowners caught it and fixed it before it became a bigger problem.
Hey Facebook, did you know that in many cases we can remove the mold stains without encapsulating over it? We can remove the stains, like it was never there. Just like we were never there
It's started out warm this week, not used to the high heat just yet! We tackled this job Tuesday morning before the sun really came out and it was still over 110 degrees in the attic we were working in. We do our best to stay cool though, air movers, alot of water and some tricks we've come across over the years help us get the job done and stay safe in the process.
This homeowner paid a "licensed" remediation company to remediate and encapsulate their home. Unfortunately, the hired company didnt get a NYS lisenced assesment/inspection and you can clearly see why. The top portion of the picture is our work as we go over the shotty job done by the other guy. Encapsulation is all about sealing in the wood with a thick, wrap around consistent heavy coating to seal in and kill any remaining mold spores. Furthermore, it acts as a barrier against future mold growth. Can you see the the difference?
Hey guys, been a while since we posted on facebook. Let's catch up a bit! Here are some pictures of an encapsulation job we did last week for a customer. They called in a local big name competitor to remediate and encapsulate mold in their home but were less than satisfied with the results. We were called in to redo their work and I think the results speak for themselves! Worst part is when the homeowner called the company, they didnt see anything wrong with it, said it was fine, good enough! Click on the pictures to scroll through and see the way the job should have been done in the first place! (After pics at the end)

We utilize multiple different types of ULV Fogging machines at Rochester Mold. Ultra low volume (ULV) fogging machines use large volumes of air at low pressures to transform liquid into droplets that are dispersed into the atmosphere. This process allows our EPA registered disinfectant to reach into areas we cannot see, deep into surfaces we cannot reach and fills the room to ensure every surface is properly treated.

This past week we had the privilege to join the GRAR agent fair held at the double tree hotel in henrietta. We got to meet so many great people, make so many new connections and even got to raffle off a TV to a very deserving person! Had a blast and can't wait to go back next year, thank you for having us!
We have just invested in a new ULV backpack fogger and we want to show just how powerful it is. It can produce a ulv fog that extends up to 15ft, this unit can fog a facility this large (165,000 cubic ft) 96ft wide by 96ft long by 18ft tall in under 10 minutes! This ultra low volume fog remained in the air for well over the required time for disinfectant applications! This is the most effective way to disinfect and sanitize any room.
